The Absolute Auction Center was originally established in 1946 as
the Pleasant Valley Auction Hall. The 8,600 sq ft facility featuring 3.5 acres of parking has been serving the auction and appraisal needs of
the Hudson Valley for more than five decades. It is the oldest and
largest auction facility in Dutchess County. The Absolute Auction Center has grown into a leading regional auction house known for its quality, service and professionalism.

It has evolved into a state-of-the-art marketplace for the auction sale of vehicles, real estate, antiques, specialty collections, furniture, rugs, artwork, tools, glassware, silver, coins, ephemera, decorator items, designer clothing and accessories. However, though we take pride in our ability to provide you with the best that technology has to offer, when you attend our auctions, it is the warm, fun family atmosphere that truly characterizes
who we are.

Entire contents of homes and estates, featured specialty collections, and selected items from individual consignors are sold
at the Absolute Auction Center approximately 15 weekends a year, roughly on a three-week cycle. Features of the Absolute Auction Center include:

Seating for over 400 bidders

Large floor display spaces and several areas of lighted, locked showcases

Networked registration/clerking/cashiering computers for use during simultaneous auctions

A presentation screen that enables bidders to see items in larger-than-life detail

A wireless sound system and TV monitors displaying the lot number currently selling in the other ring

A kitchen with complete food service

A large attached warehouse with loading dock and monitored fire & burglar alarm systems
